Woman survives after 5-foot iron rod pierces her in highway accident

A 35-year-old woman was critically injured when iron rods jutting out of a truck pierced her left shoulder after the autorickhaw she was travelling in crashed into the stationary vehicle on National Highway-24 in Ghaziabad.Police had to use iron cutters for over an hour to separate her from the rest of the bar. She was rushed to hospital with a piece of around 5-foot of iron bar still inside her body.
