Recce Squad Terrorist Drill At JKIA



 Recce squad did a mock terrorist attack at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The scenario was that a group of terrorist had hijacked a KQ flight set to leave for Malindi. There were 30 passengers aboard. Terrorist demands were food, refueling facilities and a flight plan to the destination they want. GSU Recce squad swooped in and neutralized the threat in the most professional way. The people hurt were evacuated by Red Cross to various hospitals.

Irene Stefani beatification


Tens of thousands of Catholic pilgrims have attended the beatification in the Kenyan town of Nyeri of Italian-born nun Irene Stefani. Beatification is a recognition accorded by the Catholic Church of a dead person’s entrance into heaven and their ability to intercede on behalf of believers who pray in their name. It is the third of the four canonization stages and an individual is given the title “blessed” following their beatification.
