Amazing moment runner breaks off from London Marathon to propose

 Jordan Meikle was powering through the 26.2 mile city course when he stopped to say hi to Kayleigh Harris who was cheering him on from the sidelines near Canary Wharf.

The two and a half minute video, posted on Facebook by Kayleigh’s father, shows Jordan stretching as countless runners zoom by.

He turns away from the camera to pull out the engagement ring from his running shorts.
Then, he faces his girlfriend, pretends to stretch but gets down on one knee and proposes – much to the delight of everyone.
